This role will be a key part of the Hackney Empire team, working closely with the General Manager and Executive Director to manage the operation of the theatre bars and customer service, as well as playing a key role in the delivery of health and safety, and compliance.
In liaison with the General Manager and the Executive Director, ensure effective running of the Theatre bars; to lead the bar operation, making changes where required to ensure that the offer, pricing and service standards are providing the best possible trading opportunity for the organisation; to oversee the management of the bars customer service operation and staff and ensure that Hackney Empire’s ethos is reflected; to create a welcoming and efficient environment for customers, artists, young people and staff, ensuring that the bars are kept accessible, clean and well presented at all times
