Sunday And Chill – Hosted by Scully and Young Producers

The next generation of young producers, aged 14-21, showcase the last 120 years of unforgettable experiences at Hackney Empire and beyond. As a group of young creatives, the Hackney Empire Young Producers will bring a weekend of pure talent, pure energy and pure vibez (29 – 31 Jul). The weekend line-up will platform some of the best emerging artists and performances that celebrate youth culture.

Line-up includes:

Live Art with Jadorekid: Doodle and more (1 – 1.45pm)
Taking you on a relaxing journey with a live art performance of his Jadoodle characters. Kick back and take time out to get arty yourself with colouring sheets and other wellness activities.

Games with Scully and Young Producers Get Involved (1.45 – 2pm)
Scully, the running host for the weekend takes to the stage with some exciting audience participation with our Young Producers team.

Pure Vibez: The poets Rising poetry stars (2 – 2.50pm)
Pure Vibez: The Poets bring the lyrical beauty of words which capture the stage in a breath-taking set by some of London’s best rising talent. Ft. Reya Saint, Phoenix Yemi and Azan Ahmed.

Tracks on Tap Up and coming Urban Music (3 – 3.30pm)
Tracks on Tap is London’s most supportive community bringing the best up-and-coming urban music from a variety of talented artists to River Stage

Atypical with Attitude (AwA) Challenging perceptions with dance (3.45 – 4pm)
Through the power of Dance Atypical with Attitude aims to challenge stereotypes and perceptions of what those who live with challenges are capable of achieving.

Choirs Collide: Music through collaboration (4.15 – 5pm)
Discover Young Hackney Connecting Choirs programme sees Hackney Borough Youth Choir, Haringey Vox & Hackney Empire Community Choir collide in a sing-off to end all sing-offs.
