Pure Vibez – Hosted by Scully and Young Producers

The next generation of young producers, aged 14-21, showcase the last 120 years of unforgettable experiences at Hackney Empire and beyond. As a group of young creatives, the Hackney Empire Young Producers will bring a weekend of pure talent, pure energy and pure vibez (29 – 31 Jul). The weekend line-up will platform some of the best emerging artists and performances that celebrate youth culture.

Line-up Includes:

Hackney Empire Creative Futures presents ADP Live (12 – 12.45pm)
To celebrate the 20th anniversary of Creative Futures, performers from Hackney Empire’s annual ‘Artist Development Programme’ will showcase the most epic ADP songs from the last five years.

BAC Beatbox Academy: Learn to beatbox (1 – 2pm)
Music-making can happen just from your voicebox, and Battersea Arts Centre’s Beatbox Academy are here to show you how.

Pure Vibez: The emerging talent gig New music and DJ’s (2.15 – 4.15pm)
Curated by the Young Producers, we introduce you to the most exciting London talent you need on your playlists. DJ’d by Bradshaw.

The generation Gameshow cabaret presented by Elevate East (4.30 – 5.30pm)
Generation Gameshow Cabaret is an interactive, camp, raucous, high-energy blast from the past hosted by Jimmy B. Are you a Gen Z, X or A? A Millennial? Maybe a Boomer? Hurtle through the decades, battling it out to the crowned the BEST generation.

Alter Ego showcase: Singing, dancing, rapping and more (5.45 – 7.15pm)
Join us as Hackney’s biggest and most exciting talent show Alter Ego comes to the River Stage celebrating singers, rappers, dance crews, and more.

Alumni special guest performance (7.30 – 7.50pm)
A special guest performance from one of our very own Creative Futures Alumni artists, turn up to find out more.

SNE: Fusion of different genre and vibes (8 – 8.30pm)
Taking over with a special set. SNE…Sound Never Ends…See No Evil… Rico Rodrigo…SNE is a patriot of his hometown East London and a self-proclaimed coiner of the genre ‘trillful’.

Girls of Grime Takeover: A Big Sister of the Scene’ (8.45 – 10.45pm)
The Girls of Grime collective will showcase some of their freshest DJ talent featuring performances from Crae Wolf and Ariez Baby and DJ Kaylee Kay and DJ Shaxx.
