From the House of Commons to the Strictly dance floor and now to the world’s longest running orchestral music show – Ed Balls joins the BBC Concert Orchestra, conductor Richard Balcombe and special guests for Friday Night Is Music Night.
He’s spent a lifetime in politics, he’s made speeches and statements but it was his two minute salsa to Gangnam Style on Strictly Come Dancing in 2016 that threw him into a totally different spotlight and won him a new band of fans. Tonight, he presents a show about his great hobby and love – musical theatre. The concert includes music from Wicked, Evita, The Lion King, The Sound of Music, West Side Story, The Producers and many more.
