will be presented by super soap fan Jane McDonald and recorded for broadcast on ITV in June. By attending this performance you consent to your image being used in the broadcast.

Ticket terms & conditions:

1. This ticket has been purchased by you (the “ticket holder”, “you”, “your”) in connection the filming of The British Soap Awards 2025 (the “Programme”) by ITV Studios Limited (the “Producer”) at the Hackney Empire (the “Venue”). These terms and conditions shall be referred to as the “Programme Terms”. You must also abide by the Venue’s terms and conditions (the “Venue Terms”). In the event of any inconsistency between the Programme Terms and the Venue Terms, the Programme Terms shall apply.
2. Tickets are purchased for personal use only and are not purchased as any form of business or commercial activity. In the event that you are the principal ticket holder and purchase tickets for additional persons (in connection with personal use only), you are responsible for ensuring that every member of your party is notified of these terms and conditions in advance of the recording and agrees to be bound by them.
3. All tickets are non-refundable. Tickets may not be resold or offered for resale by anyone at a premium or otherwise. Resale or attempted resale is grounds for cancellation without refund or notice.
4. Due to the nature of the Programme, individuals under the age of 16 will not be admitted.
5. The management and/or the Producer reserves the right to make alterations to the Programme; to refuse admission; to search individuals and/or their bags before permitting entry and to provide alternative seats to those purchased of the same or greater value.
6. The Producer also reserves the right to cancel the filming of the Programme without notice to the ticket holder and in the event of such cancellation a refund for the ticket price will be provided to the ticket holder.
7. Ticket holders must arrive at the time indicated for the event, allowing sufficient time to be seated at the Venue. Latecomers will not be admitted to the Venue and re-admittance will not be permitted.
8. The ticket holder is strictly forbidden from taking photographs, video, sound recording or any footage at the Venue (e.g. by using any mobile phone).
9. Mobile phones must be switched off before entry into the Venue and any other recording equipment is not to be taken into the Venue. Food and drink are not allowed in the main theatre area of the Venue.
10. Neither the Producer nor the Venue owner or Venue operator will be responsible for any travelling or other expenses incurred by the ticket holder, nor will they be responsible for any loss or damage to property or personal injury howsoever arising occurring to the ticket holder when at the Venue except as provided by statute.
11. In consideration of the Producer allowing you entrance into the Venue to attend the recording of the Programme you agree (if required by the Producer) to the filming and recording of you and your voice and any interview you may give in connection with the Programme (the “Contribution”) which may be used at the sole discretion of the Producer in whole or in part or not at all.
12. You irrevocably grant and assign to the Producer any and all copyright and other rights and consents or waive the same so as to permit the fullest use and exploitation throughout the world of the Contribution or any part(s) thereof by all means and in all media (without limitation) whether now known or hereinafter developed in perpetuity in connection with the Programme or otherwise. For the purpose of clarity, you accept that the Producer has the right to edit, copy, adapt or translate the Contribution as deemed fit and you irrevocably waive the benefits of and agree not to assert any provision of law known as “moral rights” or any similar laws of any jurisdiction.
13. Any personal data will be collected and processed in accordance with data protection laws and the ITV Studios Privacy Notice which you can view by visiting the website: www.itv.com/studiosprivacy or a written copy can be provided on request.
14. If you purchase your ticket via the Venue box office, Hackney Empire Limited will need certain information from you to administer your ticket and will process this personal information about you as a data controller. Please read their privacy policy and contact them directly for more information on how they handle your personal information.
15. Broadcasters and the Creative Diversity Network (“CDN”) are monitoring diversity on UK television through Diamond. They have a legitimate interest in collecting diversity information about our industry, and if you provide us with your name and email address we will enter this in a system called “Silvermouse” and you may be invited to provide your diversity characteristics. The broadcasters and CDN, as data controllers, are responsible for this data and will retain your name and email address for this purpose in Silvermouse for as long as diversity is monitored by them. 16. Ticket holders are asked to follow strictly any directions and Health & Safety information given to them by the Venue and/or the Producer.

18. You undertake to the Producer that you will not give to any person or organisation any interview or make, give or release any statement or comment for publication by any means or medium relating to the Programme, the participants and contributors in the Programme (such as who the winners of the Programme are), the Producer, the Venue or the broadcaster of the Programme.
19. Ticket buyers must state discounts they are entitled to at the time of booking, as they cannot be applied retrospectively and are subject to availability.
